Even though it doesn't bear any resemblance to the CL-1668 and PC-606, the LC-968 is indeed made by the same manufacturer.
It's a very different camera as it allows for pseudo-panoramic photos. A slider on the front, near the viewfinder, allows for changing the framing at will without having to open the camera. The viewfinder is wider than usual. The lens is indicated to be a 34 mm. We're still far from a true wide-angle lens that would complement enlarged paper prints well. On the back, the film advance wheel is near the cover and not on the bottom.
